Functional test 'homing', in which I test the Arduino code to home the ring and the pusher. This ensures that after starting the machine, it checks where the stanchion and pusher are located, and if it is not in the starting position, it will move both to the starting position. This code can also be used when restarting after an emergency stop.

Homing test

Rotating the ring with additional load

The first stepper motor turned out not to be powerful enough (too little torque), which caused the ring to falter while rotating. This would only get worse later due to additional weight being placed on the ring.

After installing a new stepper motor, and some extra weight, the ring turns smoothly.
